We will be talking to the children in our Out of School Clubs over the next couple of weeks about the possibility of putting together, with their help, a page on this website devoted to the activities they enjoy doing, both in and out of Superkids. It will also be a place for them to express opinions, tell jokes, share pictures of things they've made, etc.
This will be a great chance for the children to contribute to the website and show off their talents - a nice confidence boost too.

We carefully take them off the envelopes and save them in a bag. When we have a bag full we send them to an organisation called CRY which stands for Care and Relief for the Young. This organisation sells the stamps on to fund their charity work which organises projects such as supporting displaced children in the Congo, organising an agricultural programme to help families and communities in Zimbabwe, and many other worthwhile projects around the world. Our team in the office will be letting the club supervisor know who has booked and paid for any particular day. The supervisor will only be able to collect the children on the list of children booked and paid for, which will be sent from the office.

Payments for September 2010 onwards will also be managed in the office. Cash can still be handed in at the club for bookings made with the office, as long as it is given in advance. Cheques should be posted to the office.

The team in the club will be able to spend more time with the children which will further raise the quality of care and activities on offer; regular breakdowns of payments made will be available by e-mail, which helps when dealing with tax credits, college funding, etc.; tracking payments will be easier for you and office staff; time will be saved in chasing individual payments; you’ll have no worries about forgetting to pay or missing payments and you'll have an improved relationship with your club supervisor who won’t be hassling you for money!

A big plus for us is the amount of time saved in chasing up missing payments. We’d like our time in the club to be spent on the activities and quality of care, not on administrative tasks.

The same methods of payment will be available as now – standing order, childcare vouchers, online bank transfer, cheque and cash.

Please ensure you include your child's name, setting and unique id number which is available from your club supervisor. This will enable us to identify your payment ans secure your place.

Setting up a standing order with Superkids is child's play - quite appropriate really.
Step 1 Contact the office on 0845 0066776 to let us know what sessions you need.
Step 2 We'll work out a monthly figure based on your child's sessions.
Step 3 Contact your bank to set up a standing order for that amount, to be paid on the first of the next month, using the following information:

And that's it. Once you've set up the standing order you don't need to make a mad dash for the booking form any more because your child's place will be guaranteed for the duration of the standing order. You will still need to confirm with the staff at Superkids that your child will be attending their usual sessions and please give as much notice as possible if your child will not be attending a session for any reason.

15th May, the International Day of the Family, is a great day to launch a company whose aim is to help families save money.
