Covid-19 Update
Thursday 19th March 10.30am
As you can imagine, the last 12 hours have been a bit hectic for us. We wanted to keep you as up to date as possible with a situation which is fast moving for us all.
As you will know, the Government has asked nurseries to close, along with schools and colleges, to slow down the spread of Covid-19. Some nurseries will remain open to care for the children of ‘key workers.’ We have offered ourselves as one of those nurseries but have yet to hear back from the local authority as to their decision. In addition, the government has yet to provide a comprehensive list of which job roles qualify as key workers.
Until we are clearer about whether we will be open and which parents will continue to need care, we are expecting all fees to be paid until the end of March. This will help us to ensure staff receive their March salary. We will contact you in the near future regarding future fee payment.
We hope to be able to provide more detail later today, if not tomorrow about what happens after Friday.
Kind Regards,
Superkids Levenshulme
