Sunny futures for Superkids Class of ’17

We had a fantastic day at Superkids on Tuesday 18th July – Graduation Day. It was great to see so many parents, grandparents and friends who had come to help us celebrate their children’s time with us at Superkids Levenshulme.

With plenty of typical, day-to-day activities on offer, it was great to see the grown-ups getting stuck in with such enthusiasm. The children seemed to love showing off what they do whilst at Superkids.

And didn’t they look great with their Graduation caps and Superkids Certificates of Achievement in the Presentation Ceremony? They did their parents proud, walking down the red carpet with confidence and pride in their success. Their singing was fab too!

After a lovely buffet, with some much needed cool drinks, next came the Great Superkids Balloon Release. With a tag attached to each balloon so people from near and far could tag us on our Facebook page, letting us know where they found  the balloon, the children were happy to see them fly up into the air.

Now, we love our trees at Superkids for the cool shade they give us on hot days like Tuesday and the birds and insects they attract. But we weren’t too impressed when some of our balloons got caught up in the tallest branches! Never mind – most of the balloons flew up and away.

Where the balloons will end up, we don’t yet know – but we gave them a good start – just like this year’s Superkids Graduates! We have really enjoyed working with the Class of 2017 during their time with us, helping them to begin their journey through life and learning. And now, like the balloons, we look forward to finding out what becomes of them in the future.
