Superkids Levenshulme are currently recruiting for PERMANENT qualified and experienced Early Years workers for our well-established Ofsted Outstanding nursery. You will need to be professional, reliable, dependable and most of all love working with children. The current roles available in our busy, family run private day nursery with excellent facilities would suit a positive and creative Early Years professional with a minimum level 2/3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years.

You should have excellent knowledge and understanding of child development and children’s needs with an ability to plan and fully implement the Early Years framework. An ability to communicate verbally and in writing, this includes the ability to establish rapport and credibility with parents as well as colleagues. You will be involved in supporting a group of children, confidently delivering activities to improve development and monitor and observe their progression. The ability to produce clear concise and well written reports as well as being organised and able to prioritise your own workload and plan in advance. All applicants will be subject to DBS and referencing checks.

Skills/Qualifications required:

* GCSE Grades A-C in Maths and English

Whilst with Superkids you will gain:

You will be working with the support of our highly experienced Management team. Superkids has over 15 years experience in the childcare sector. At Superkids we are always on the look out for people who are able to help us out by covering absence through illness or holidays in our nursery in Levenshulme.

Cover work is ideal for people who can’t or don’t wish to commit to full time or regular work, for whatever reason. If you just want the odd shift to ‘keep your hand in’ or to earn an extra bit of money for your household this type of work could be a solution. Or if you are wishing to return to childcare after a career break this is the perfect way to get back up to speed with new knowledge and practice. It could also lead to permanent work for those who are looking.

It is also great experience for you if you are thinking of a career in childcare and wish to gain an idea of what it is really like before starting a training course. If this is you, we would be able to provide you with the chance to work alongside experienced child carers – a great chance to pick up advice and learn new skills whilst getting paid!
