Superkids Day Nursery is looking for a part time Early Years Educator to work in our Levenshulme nursery, rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Suitable qualifications to NVQ Level 3;
  • Knowledge of working in a busy nursery environment
  • Thorough knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted standards;
  • Exemplary practice in relation to safeguarding;
  • Ability to work on own initiative whilst supporting company aims, policies and procedures;
  • Sensitivity to the needs of the children, parents and community we serve:
  • Ability to work as part of a growing team.

About Superkids:

Superkids Levenshulme is based in a superb, purpose-built nursery facility, based in a Sure Start centre. The nursery has grown rapidly since we opened in 2014 and has an excellent reputation in the local area. Superkids has over 20 years’ experience in the childcare sector, and you will be working with the support of our Nursery Manager. We are an ambitious company, with plans to grow this nursery. Skills/Qualifications required:

* GCSE Grades A-C in Maths and English

At Superkids we are always on the look out for people who are able to help us out by covering absence through illness or holidays in our nursery in Levenshulme.

Cover work is ideal for people who can’t or don’t wish to commit to full time or regular work, for whatever reason. If you just want the odd shift to ‘keep your hand in’ or to earn an extra bit of money for your household this type of work could be a solution. Or if you are wishing to return to childcare after a career break this is the perfect way to get back up to speed with new knowledge and practice. It could also lead to permanent work for those who are looking.

It is also great experience for you if you are thinking of a career in childcare and wish to gain an idea of what it is really like before starting a training course. If this is you, we would be able to provide you with the chance to work alongside experienced child carers – a great chance to pick up advice and learn new skills whilst getting paid!

Whatever your reason, we are looking for people with a genuine interest and enjoyment of working with children and you would be subject to a DBS check.
