Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in our latest report, Superkids Day Nursery, Levenshulme is a place of fun, learning and love. The enthusiasm of our team is focused on the next best step for the children in our care, educationally, emotionally, physically and socially. Parents are always amazed by the progress their children make with us, in their confidence and self esteem as well as their learning.

All children learn at different rates and our job is to guide your child through their learning journey, led by managers with over 50 years of combined experience in care and education.

From the very beginning we use the knowledge you have of your child, along with the skills and abilities they have already acquired when they come to us, to map their unique learning programme. Our partnership with you as loving parents is vital in helping us to support your child.

What our parents say about us

Review from J M (Mother of Child)

Both of my children have attended Superkids since they were babies. We have known the team for the past 5 years and they are truly amazing people. The kindness, support and guidance they give to the children is second to none.  I have trusted them completely and it has given me total peace of mind that they are being well looked after when I’m not there for them. They have taught my boys so many skills and given them the confidence to move on and try new things. Every room is so well equipped and beautifully laid out. The outdoor areas are spacious and was one of the things that attracted us to the nursery in the first place. The special events that they put on for the children and the parents are so much fun and are above and beyond what you would expect. They are truly the best and have helped raise my babies into kind, gentle and smart little boys. Thank you!

Review from M B (Father of child)

We have two children at the nursery (one starting at 2, the other when they were 10 months). We have found Superkids fantastic in all areas. The children are happy, the food provision is of a good quality and the staff are fantastic.
One massive positive for us is the amazing outdoor space! Somewhere for the kids to enjoy themselves and develop in a secure outdoor environment.

Review from M L (Mother of child)

Fantastic nursery! The staff, are very warm welcoming and genuinely friendly. The learning environment is vibrant, fun and supportive. The children are encouraged to be responsible and independent. They are exposed to a wide range of activities, hands on fun messy learning. They also teach them about different cultures, religions and how they celebrate their holidays and traditions.
The outdoor area is excellent plenty of space for the children to socialise and play. I am very pleased with the progress my son has made since starting at Superkids. My son has been very happy here and always looks forward to attending the next session.

Our fees

Our current fee at Superkids for a non-funded place is £70 per day. A nursery day is either 7:30am-5:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm.

We offer both the 15 and 30 hour Government Funding.

Children accessing the 15 hour Government Funding can come free of charge 7:30am-12:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly, term time only. Superkids operates all year round, over 50 weeks. The Government Funded hours are offered over 38 weeks of the year. Term time only is offered for those wishing to access 15 hours only or children who are over 3 years old.

For children accessing the 30 hour Government Funding we offer sessions over 3 days, 8:00am-6:00pm or 7:30am-5:30pm.

Indoor messy play resizedThere is a voluntary consumable charge of £15 per day on these funded days. The government funding covers the cost of basic learning materials which help us deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) prescribed curriculum. The consumables charge helps us deliver an enhanced experience for your child. It helps us fund many activities which extend children beyond the EYFS. It also covers experiences such as gardening and cooking which are not included in the EYFS, trips away from the nursery and celebration days/events such as those which recognise our diverse local and national communities or raise awareness of charitable causes.

Our invoices run from September-August, or from your child’s start date until the end of August. Fees are payable on or before the 1st of the month in advance. We work out your bill to make budgeting easier providing you with regular consistent payments, so that you pay the same amount each month, taking into account the voluntary consumable charge, the days that are not funded and the Government Funded contributions.

Our menus

The children love the meals we serve in the nursery. A variety of dishes, cooked on-site by our Chef are presented to the Lyla-Jo eating resizedchildren, to widen their experience of flavours and textures. All meals are vegetarian, with meat substitute being used in some. Please ask for more information about the food we provide when you visit.

Indoor and outdoor play

Ouitdoor play resizedAt Superkids Day Nursery we view the outside areas as an extra classroom so we are lucky that that we have plenty of interesting and varied spaces outside for the children to investigate. And we don’t let the good old Manchester weather put us off either. The rain gives the children chance to put their wellies and overalls on and get busy in the mud kitchen, hunt for bugs or just splash in the puddles.

We love getting messy inside too, with lots of opportunities for exploring different textures and colours, developing all the senses, from the babies all the way to our oldest children.

Ofsted Report

We are incredibly proud of our latest Ofsted Report which gave us a rating of ‘Good.’ Read what they said about us here. The report is testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team in wanting the best for all of the children and parents who use our service.
